Really good place this nice comfy bed decent shower good tv spotlessly clean although I only slept on top of the quilt due to the current heat chap who checked me in really friendly also put fresh tea bags and biscuits and fruit juice in the room every day curtains block out all the light would have no hesitation recommending or coming back cheers guys see you soon

The propert is very well located and the owner very helpful when we checked in. I have sent an email to the hotel and never received a response - very disappointing. The property is old and the musty smell when entering is quite strong. The room is quite as is bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is so small that is practically unusable - even brushing the teeth is difficult. The room itself seemed clean, there is TV, iron and ironing board, some tea and coffee plus juice and cookies. The musty smell from entrance made me think the property must be requiring a lot of maintenance. We only needed an overnight accommodation and we left in the morning. I would not stay again.

This location gives really easy access to the town. My only issue as I am getting on in age is that my room was on the top floor. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a quick getaway The staff are amazing the dig are near Sainsbury’s and other shops. Domino pizza on the doorstep. 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the Beach and old town. Perfect place for a trip to the coast.

Handy location

The hotel was in a great location, very close to the station and within easy walking distance to both the seaside and the city center. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the shower room was clean. There was a slight smell in the room at first, but it wasn’t a big issue and I got used to it. The kettle could have been a bit cleaner, so I didn’t use it, but overall the room was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay.

The Apollo was a 2 minute walk from train station and buses. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room (5) was clean and bed very comfortable. Plenty of Tea, coffee and milk in room. Also a lovely touch was the biscuits, cartons of juices and bottled water. I would recommend the Apollo.

Very good for the price

Nice and clean room. The toilet and shower were outside the room but close enough, a few steps away. The bed was comfy, there was a little TV in the wall, the WIFI unfortunately didn't really reach us on the top floor, but overall nice start and warm welcome.

The room was tidy, the host was available and helpful, and the location was convenient to central Hastings... for better and worse. Free parking was available around the block in a pretty dingy carpark, but my car did fine. The ensuite shower was almost comically small, but it got the job done.

The property was very convenient in location, the staff were helpful with questions about the area and the facilities inside the guest house were well maintained. It would have been helpful to have a sink within the shared bathroom, as leaving the toilet to wash hands was a minor inconvenience. Other than that, all was well.

The Apollo is an old quaint building with a few charming quirks. It is very convenient to the train station, the pier/beach and the funky downtown area. We walked everywhere and felt safe but there was an abundance of litter on the sidewalks from both people and seagulls that tear open and scatter garbage which does not seem to get cleaned up. The proprietor was very nice and the building was secure. While the bed was comfortable, bed linens need to be upgraded.

I thought the payment was coming out my bank as it had taken the money and was pending in my bank account and got there and was asked for payment so they need to sort that technical point out otherwise it was a good stay for me and my friend
