「I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed with the limited choice at breakfast. Only cooked breakfast which I don't eat and no cereals, porridge or fruit etc.」

「Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. 「On the whole our stay was a very pleasant experience. Our room was light airy and cool in the heatwave. The beds clean and comfortable. Decent shower/ bath. Not sure if the small towel in the bathroom was a hand towel or bathmat. The only disappointment was the very basic breakfast, just flake or some round cereal. No muesli, yoghurt, and NO fruit. 「I had a lovely stay at the Hope Anchor. The hotel is in a good spot, in a quiet but central location with a nice view over the town and countryside. The room was a good size with a good view outside. It’s a historic hotel, which adds to the atmosphere. The bathroom was large and modern. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. I had a lovely short stay there in Rye.」

「The property was lovely. We stayed in room 9 as it was located on the ground floor and I use a wheelchair, plenty of room. We had a snack Friday evening and it was lovely food. The staff were very friendly, chatty and accommodating. Easy to find. Definitely will stay here again.」
