"With the convenience of a simple apartment-style setup, you can freely use the clean facilities.
This makes it highly effective if you prefer a freestyle stay."
"Fantastic experience...only wish we would have had more time. We used this as a hub prior to climbing Mt. Fuji - not too far from the Atami Station and easy to access.
Staff is helpful, kind and very welcoming. Beautiful Ryokan - would definitely come back to visit again. "
"Purchase the dinner and breakfast—excellent buffets and beautiful dining room. Hotel has extraordinary ocean view. No need to leave the property as it has 3 onsens, restaurants, and activities."
"What a delightful hostel with ryoken style rooms and a beautiful onsen. The views were also wonderful of the sea! Great service, great place and accessible to the train station, too!"
"Amazing hotel. relaxing atmosphere. very nice and helpful staff. better to come with a car although they offer transportation to the train station.. but less convenient."

"The rooms are big but sparsely decorated. Bed mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. They provide very limited amenities in the bathroom. Finally, considering that is marketed as a family resort, there are very limited and simple number of activities.
On the positive side, staff are very professional and dedicated to improving customer experience. Additionally, breakfast is abundant and with great variety.
Overall, this place is not worth the price. It would be rated at best a three stars in international markets. "

"
SOKI Atami is a beautiful and tranquil retreat. I thoroughly enjoyed the private onsen on my outdoor terrace, with its serene view overlooking the sea. The amenities are first-class, and the service is beyond reproach.
As a design professional with a deep appreciation for Japanese aesthetics, I found joy in every detail—from the architecture to the textures and tones. Every element felt intentional and quietly luxurious.
My only suggestion would be to offer more variety in the dining options. The dinner menu, while exquisite and beautifully prepared, is a fixed multi-course meal. It’s undeniably delicious but might be too expensive for guests to enjoy every night of their stay.
The Japanese-style breakfast is also excellent—nutritious and thoughtfully presented. That said, as a guest from the U.S., I would appreciate the option of a lighter, Western-style breakfast. I understand this may not fully align with the hotel's concept, but I wanted to share this perspective as a matter of comfort and inclusivity.
Overall, I would come back in a heartbeat!"
