"Parking was straightforward. The rooms are in need of refurbishment and the mattress was pretty lumpy. Our TV didn't work but the receptionist was incredibly helpful and eventually moved us to an alternative room. Location can't be faulted. Breakfast was fairly basic but no particular complaints. "

"Nice spa, nice renovations, shame the steam room wasn't working. The mens showers were cold. But other than that this was a nice hotel experience. The bedroom was a little small but well kept. The bar area and restaurant was well appointed and you can see nice refurbishment work had happened. The breakfast was excellent and worth the money. The location was quite good to access town with a short walk."

"The privacy setting for the shower screen didn't work, but at least the window opened to help cool the room down. Comfy enough bed and friendly staff."

"Stains over carpet and sofa in room. Damaged furniture, over all not very appealing. Bathroom was clean at least "

"Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Very comfortable beds. Generally a lovely stay with great choice at breakfast. My only criticism is that the drinks at the bar are a little on the pricey even for a four star hotel. But still enjoyed the lovely deco and would recommend this hotel. "
