Lovely room lots of character. The food is excellent and clearly very popular indeed the local area, definitely reserve a table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay again

This was a 1-night stay for work. Good greeting on arrival, lovely room (which was room called Lloyd Stacey), comfortable bed, small desk to work at, nice ensuite. The problems in the room were the main light did not work, but that could not be fixed during my stay and the remote control for the TV could only select channels by going up and down and changing the volume - this also was not sorted during my stay. I ate at the premises in the evening having the Haddock and Chips which was okay.

Excellent choice for a weekend away

Came for a fly fishing trip and loved every minute. The food at the pub is excellent and the rooms are very nice. Gorgeous garden and very well located for fishing, walks into Stockbridge, and generally enjoying the countryside. Staff was very helpful as well and arranged a pre-made lunch for us to take for our day on the water.
