"Great location especially if you are planning to take the Tram to Sandia Peak - only five minutes at most. Close to the city but also far enough to be relatively peaceful. The surrounding neighborhoods are very nice and we felt absolutely safe.The home itself is good with plenty of space for up to a family of four. Very spacious in the open concept kitchen-dining-living room. Clean but definitely used is how I would describe the shape of the house. Needs a little TLC with painting, better lighting and better kept outside landscaping - the tiny backyard lot (probably 30’x15’ (more or less) is dirt, overgrown trees/shrubs and patio furniture that would be better served in the local dump. Lastly (in terms of the house, which is a duplex) is the ask from Christine (the owner) to not use the central heating system. Not sure why but there were electric portable heaters that did the job - just weird I guess - I’m pretty sure that the house heating was working fine. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes and all that you would need to prepare and serve meals. We didn’t use the dishwasher, and aside from the refrigerator ice dispenser not working, all other appliances were in good working order.Christine is extremely responsive which I really appreciated. And overall I believe the price was appropriate for what you get.I’d stay there again - and I would rate the house and stay as a 4 out of 5.Thanks Christine."

"Rented the property for a week long family reunion. The check-in as well as the check-out went very well. What really stands out about the property is the city view from the foothills of the Sandia mountains. Plenty of hot air balloons getting ready for Balloon Festival in about a week or so. Parking is somewhat limited if family all drive their own cars. All in all, it was a great choice for our family for the week and I strongly recommend this rental."

"Very quiet neighborhood with easy spacious parking. Check in and check out were a bit light on details on what and how to do, but no big issues. I suggest that more post booking details on the VRBO website and consider including a binder in the rental on how to check out and other local details. Glad there were notes on the light switches on what switch did what - it has been annoying with our past bookings. We were pleasantly surprised that the unit was well stocked with goodies - the best we have seen. Another suggestion is to get a new drip coffee pot as the one in the unit has seen better days."
