「Its really nice and romantic. Nice place to unwind after a long touristy day. If you arrive at night it wil be dark and scary. However, in the day, its is quite quaint. Breakfast is wonderful」

「Our three day stay was definitely relaxing. Overall the property was tidy enough, the shower floor needs to be properly cleaned. Not enough amenities but Overall I did appreciate the little things like spoons, dishes and cups a clean bedding, cable internet and air conditioner. The staffs were nice and my husband met the manager which he said was very down to earth and friendly. One thing to note is that you need a vehicle to get around. 」

「I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. I have stayed in busy and noisy hotels all over and have never had to resort to the earplugs that were left in the nightstand. The Google Map link sent to me wouldn’t work which created...

「I would expect more from a hotel for the homeless. I was scared the death of bed bugs. Sketchy neighborhood, no staff, no lounge or coffee, contrary to photos and all their rooms are photo shopped. Never coming back. No soap, a sink that was gas station type, and no cups.」

「Beautiful, modern, and affordable room. I stayed in the 2 bed room with 4 people total and it was so spacious. The location is perfect for experiencing the La Placita nightlife (literally less than a minute walk away). Ear plugs are provide since the location is in La Placita. There’s a jacuzzi and outdoor shower in rinse off and sunscreen and bug spray are provided. Super easy for Ubers to find the hotel and overall could not recommend staying here more!! 」
