「We booked this as a last minute booking and wasn't sure ehat we were expecting but wow what a place! Beautifully designed, nice and relaxing. Staff couldnt do enough and great value for the rooms, Breakfast was lovely too! Only 20 minutes away from York City Centre will definitely be staying again」

「The room and hotel worked for what it was offering! I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but the door to the room I was staying in wasn’t working properly so I did run into some minor issues there. Other than that, it was very smooth sailing! Would recommend!」

「The staff were lovely and friendly. The food and service were amazing. The bed was clean and comfortable, but there were cobwebs and spiders in the room/bathroom and the cleanliness around the toilet could definitely be improved.」

「Hotel is central. Bed is small for two and you hear noise for the other rooms.」

「I loved it. Bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was 10/10. I am so glad I stayed at this location! 5 min walk to the historic center of town but quiet at the B&B.」

「Room was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a pretty good location too, only 10 minute walk to city centre. Check in and checkout was very straightforward and there’s maps available at the front desk of the city centre and surrounding areas, staff at front desk explain very well how to get to places. Would stay again on my next trip to York :)」

「Lovely hotel, comfortable, clean, nice food, friendly staff, cool records to play, free sweets n chocolate.. Marvellous!」
