「The restaurant and bar closed at 9pm. It was march break , so, Pretty early. The hotel was packed apparently so why wouldnt you be open a little later. . This place could definitely use an upgrade . Staff was kind . Stay was underwhelming.」

「The Grotto Spa has been updated & is beautiful. Loved the assortment of saunas. Close by Coombs Market & Englishman’s River Falls and Parksville seaside beachfront park are a must see!! 」

「Our room must have been situated beside a utility room as there was noise all night that sounded like a clothes dryer with shoes in it. And then in the morning at 6am a loud delivery truck right outside our window, beeping and banging as the hotel restaurant received its order. Not restful at all! 」

「Was a nice place to stay for one night. Would have liked some meat options for breakfast, otherwise, all was very good. 」

「The ocean view I booked through Expedia was disappointing as the view was of one corner of the deck and the rest overlooking the rooftop of one of their buildings. 」

「Great views. Staff were great. Issue with the hot tub the first night there but was fixed the second night just too crowded to use. Large spacious rooms - very clean. Beds were quite squishy. Could be updated. 」

「Staff was friendly. Hotel smelled a little strange and musky. The carpet seemed quite worn. Room was clean however bathroom was very small and inconvenient to use with family. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Pool was clean and did not have a strong chlorine smell. The free breakfast was okay but very limited. Wifi was good」

「Loved our stay. The room was great, comfortable bed and appreciated the fireplace. The beach view from the deck was wonderful. Location was perfect and we enjoyed our stroll on the beach. Will stay again.」
