The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. 「Sadly the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff cannot excuse some of the basic fundamental issues that I have experienced over the last few stays at this hotel. I decided to stay here as I am a keen swimmer and the facilities here are great in that regard. Unfortunately I seem to be unable to get the same quality of room between stays even though I always book the same room type. 「There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return.」

「車での宿泊がメインなのでしょうが、バスで行くと日本人には中々難しい道のりでした。タクシーの運転手には「リズリー、ホリデイイン」で通じます。Derbyまでバスで20分ほどで2.6ポンドです。慣れてしまえばさほど不便ではないかと。 トイレの水が流れにくいのはイギリスではどこでもそうなのでしょうか？（笑 部屋などは清潔ですごしやすく、イギリスらしい風光明媚な田舎の雰囲気が楽しめます。 朝食は10ポンドとちょっと高いですが、ビュッフェ形式で濃厚なソーセージやベーコン、ベイクドビーンズ、フルーツなどがあり、けっこうおいしいです。 従業員の方達も親切で丁寧で、片言しか話せない日本人でも安心できると思います。」
