「Good location close to the Minster. Room was on the main road side of the building, but we'll sound proofed. Some noise from the bar, but this is expected in a pub. Problem with loss of hot water pressure on the final morning was irritating, but these things happen. Clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. 」

「Amazing cottage with double bed on mezzanine floor accessible by staircase. Not suitable for persons with accessibility problems. Bed is near to wall with low headroom on one side. We had no problems. Kitchen and downstairs toilet/sink/shower room. Plenty of hot water. Milk and butter in fridge. Tea, coffee provided. All crockery, pans, tea towels, towels, dressing gowns etc clean. Kitchen cupboards a little dusty. We had to arrive late and leave early so no breakfast and didn't go into the...

「I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. There were a couple of bottles of water in the room and some discount vouchers, all of which were an unexpected bonus. The kitchenette was handy if you wanted to make a drink...
