There is a courtesy shuttle to Fiumicino Airport - such a great convenience to travelers. Also, the breakfast is excellent and opens at 6 a.m. if your flight is early. The servers at lunch were outstanding - don’t know their names. They were so kind and helpful to weary travelers - the Garden Inn is lucky to have them! And the beds are very comfortable too.

Great hotel, perfect for overnight stay before flight home. Only downside, there was a private function on which was a bit noisy

Great location, good breakfast, friendly staff.

A very strange 5-star hotel experience... Their main restaurant was closed on Monday, and the only other place to eat was the hotel bar. I asked the staff to book a massage for me, but they simply pointed me to a QR code, which didn’t work. There seemed to be no other way to book, such as calling the spa directly. When I eventually went downstairs to the spa to ask how to book, they gave me a completely different website. It also turned out that the spa is run by a separate company and is not actually part of the hotel. The spa facilities themselves are tiny and crowded. There also didn’t seem to be enough staff at reception, as there was almost always a queue. Another thing to be aware of is that around half of the rooms face the inner courtyard, which is quite dark. We had one of those rooms, and it felt dark inside pretty much all day. The hotel itself is beautiful, though, which makes all of the above even more disappointing for a 5-star property.

Fantastic location and luxury modern convenience in the thick of Athens. Excellent service from every staff member we encountered. Loved the delicious selections of the extensive breakfast buffet. Cant top the views from the restaurant, bar, and pool on the rooftop. 10-15 minutes walking distance to most of the sites in Athens. I would definately return here again! Be sure to book a room with an Acropolis view. It's magical at night and breathtaking to sit out on the patio in the morning with a cup of coffee with that view!

Staying in a 12th century castle that is updated with modern facilities is amazing. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The Fahrenheit Restaurant had excellent food. The staff at the hotel was so helpful.

The good: the staff and managers were all very helpful and kind. The bad: the electricity went out for the whole hotel for a few hours, impacting availability of air conditioning. Rooms are not soundproof, you will likely hear people walking outside at night. The bathroom door is silly- it’s a piece of glass with a hole in it for grip that doesn’t slide smoothly- it’ll wake up whoever is with you in your room
