"Fantastic experience and most friendliest hotel staff I met recently. Breakfast is amazing as well. Located conveniently closer to the Edinburgh Railway Station and walkable distance to the Royal Mile and other attractions. Must stay if you are after a relaxing stay."

"The location is excellent and the rooms are well designed and comfortable. The staff are very attentive. Due to the nature of the building, temperature was varied and the water pressure in the shower was less than ideal. Aside from this, it was a perfect hotel for what i needed."

"Helpful at Reception to accommodate an earlier check in and store my case in the interim. Offered a refreshment at check in too. Very comfortable and welcoming seating area in foyer. Room was fab. Clean and comfortable with mod cons and amenities. I didn’t use bar or restaurant as only there 1 night. Will be back. "

"It’s definitely dated but the location was perfect. Room was small. Towel warmer in bathroom didn’t work and coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned-nor the Nespresso dispenser. Breakfast was good. We would book again, but I would try for different area of club. "

"Our stay was quite comfortable and we spent a large portion of it out and in the city, the wait staff in the bar was not the friendliest nor communicative. Slow to take our order and had no idea what a Tom Collins was? Brought a gin and tonic instead. "
