"A wonderful location within quarter mile of the Royal Mile & the Castle - loads of bars, restaurants & music / comedy venues close by.
I won't stay anywhere else when visiting Edinburgh."
"The checkin was easy and our room was ready (at 10am!).Our room was comfortable and well laid out. The shower was easy to use and the water nice and hot. The towels were large and absorbant.
The staff was astounding. Everyone was extremelly friendly yet professional, and helpful. They couldn't do enough for the guests. They even brought the manager's black lab out to visit for us!
The location is very handy to get to sites of interest."
"Beautiful hotel. Stayed in numerous hotels in Edinburgh and other cities around Scotland and this was the nicest. Good location, parking tough and navigating the area roads is challenging for Americans but this place is fabulous "
"Lovely hotel just a short walk from the train station! Easy to get to even when rolling bags of luggage. Room is nice and it has a safe for storing important items. Does not have a refrigerator. They do provide a kettle for heating water for coffee. Very close walk to Royal Mile. "
"We stayed at this centrally located hotel during the Edinburgh Fringe festival. The hotel is ideally suited for either exploring the old town section of the city or the various venues of the festival. But the price of the location is that the lobby is very packed and busy with some of the festival venues located in the hotel. Even with a room in the rear of the hotel, we had noise issues in the morning with a waste removal truck in the car park.
Nevertheless, the proximity of the hotel to the city center and the Edinborough castle cannot be overlooked. For our short stay, the location was ideal. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our needs. We would recommend this hotel."
"Loved the location for a quick few days in Edinburgh. Close to Panda & Son's, Rose street, Grassmarket, Johnnie Walker and Edinburgh Castle. Staff made an awesome recommendation of the Sunday Straw Market. Extremely close and great experience!! Would definitely book again. "
"A lovely hotel on St. Andrew’s Square. Elevators are a bit confusing, but easily manageable. Breakfast was delicious and there are many options. Old Town is just a stones throw away. Staff is exceptionally friendly and eager to help out.
I recommend this place to all!!!"
