The room had no facial tissues. When I asked at the front desk for a box of tissues, I was told that tissues are not provided, and I should use the toilet paper! The thinness and texture of toilet paper is NOT a suitable substitute for facial tissue. I went to a convenience store to buy my own ...

Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh
I gave a 4 star rating only because the room was small for what we paid, but nicely appointed and clean. Great toiletries (and even a wash cloth which was a pleasant surprise). We had the buffet breakfast and the service and variety was excellent.

The Mount Royal Hotel in Edinburgh was a very nice hotel. Central to old town, new town, buses, trains, hollyrood, etc. The room ans common areas were extremely clean and the staff polite.
