「My wife and I stayed for 5 nights from Aug 2nd to 7th for vacation and we loved this hotel! The kitchen made our stay even better with a microwave oven and a cook top because it allowed us to prepare meals whenever needed. The staff were friendly and always there, which made us feel safe. The location was great too. Major attractions like Calton hill, Royal Mile, St James Square, etc are all within walking distance. A supermarket, Tesco Express, was in the same block, which also made our stay...

「The location nd space was amazing…but it was the stellar staff that get the top notch accolades. They were all so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived to the time we left. And not just doing little things, but things rarely done now. They happened to ask about our plans for the day and when they heard we had a full day travel trip they made us a goodie bag with treats and apples. I found everything about this stay to be wonderful and look forward to a return!」

「Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.」
