The hotel is very central located with so many places within walking distance. The staff was amazing. My husband hurt himself at St. Andrews and they made sure we had ice and checked in on us, even the housekeeping staff.

ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile
Unfortunately, though the Ibis hotels as a concept aren’t bad, we had to wade through drunk locals to/from our hotel location. If you’ve a choice, stay at City Centre also, think “minimalist” — it’s affordable for a reason! But overall, you should only be in there to sleep, so it’s all good!

For this being a 4-star hotel and for the price I paid, it left a lot to be desired. Faux leather furniture had extensive scuff marks. Black mold in the shower area.
