"The Adagio is in a great location on the Royal Mile! There are shops galore, many excellent restaurants, and it's within easy walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the Holyrood Palace, the Museum of Scotland, Museum of Edinburgh as well Greykirk cemetery.It is also a short walk to Waverly train station and the AirLink 100 bus stop to the airport. As for our room, a twin beds, the beds were firm and the pillows were comfy. The kitchenette include a good sized refrigerator, a two burner stove, a small dishwasher and a set of dishes, cutlery and an electric kettle. There was extra closet space too which was very convenient to have. The bathroom was clean, nice showerhead with good water pressure, and a large sink. The onsite laundry in the lower floor was a bargain although it's in a small space. You can be notified by email when your wash cycle and/ or dryer cycle is completed. A very convenient feature! All in all, we enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Adagio and will definitely stay there again. "

"Had an excellent stay at the Apex Waterloo Place - stayed 3 nights over a long six nations weekend. The hotel was really well presented, all of the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. We ate at the Liberte restaurant and had their Prix Fixe menu - the food was delicious and good value for the quality we received. Used the basement pool and sauna which was small, but really nice too. Hotel well located for the city, and exploring down to Leith. All in all, a great stay and would come back here again another time. "

"Everything about CoDE is top notch in my opinion. Very clean, with private quiet areas to chill. No keys or cards to fumble with, all areas are secure with your own "code". I traveled with my son so we opted for the twin room with private bath, was perfect. I booked through Expedia last year and when we arrived there were issues with the booking but were delt with care, professionalism and swiftly resolved. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. If something couldn't be answered immediately, someone was on it in reasonable time. I am a mature traveler and would definitely recommend for all ages18 and above. I will definitely be back one day. "Stayed here two weeks ago and had a lovely stay breakfast was at 7-00 till 10-00 and we went down at 7-00 and the hot and cold buffet was excellent. We stayed there last weekend on the 7th of march and was told the breakfast was at 7-00 till 10-00 we went down at 7-00 and was told the breakfast was at 7-30 as our train was at8-00 we left at 7-20 to catch the train the coffee machine wasn't even out need to get there act together and tell us the right time for breakfast "

"Stay at this hotel. It felt like our home away from home in Edinburgh. Rianne (I think that’s how her name is spelled) and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, which makes a big difference when you’re traveling in a foreign country. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was the best we had at any hotel in Scotland, the location was excellent - central to everything but still pretty quiet for a good night’s rest. Also, we always saw the housekeeping team working very hard to keep the hotel clean. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to return!"
