"The Adelaide Inn is the most comfortable motel I've stayed in for years and I am sorry it was for only one night. Large room, good bed, great bathroom with excellent shower, large mirrored anteroom with stool to use makeup mirror, good coffeemaker, large fridge, microwave, and good cable tv. I plan to visit again."

"On our way back from LA we decided to add in a tour of the Hearst Castle. Staying at this hotel which was only 5 miles away was the best decision we made. Greeted with a friendly smile and the keys we headed to our room. Large game pieces for Chess, Checkers, and Tic-Tac-Toe were calling our competitive family spirit. After settling in we wandered over to the Sea Lion Visitors Center next door. The guide was helpful in not only telling us about where to watch the sea lions, giving us tips on local places to eat dinner. To our surprise, as we came back to get ready we had a knock at the door and a complimentary bottle of wine was handed to us. After dinner, we headed back under wet weather thinking we would not be able to use the fire pits. Not so, we bundled up with a blanket from the car and a glass of wine and headed down to a roaring blaze that kept us warm. We have decided to come back this summer and reserve one of the rooms with the rocking chairs facing the sunset. Thank you for a lovely night. "
