Unlike every other place we stayed, this one had a working hot tub that was indoors wo it was not too cold to get to. The room was nice and quiet enough to hear the seagulls chattering on the beach.

It’s not a lot to look at but be real. The coast is the view. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy. The inside is very nice. You’ll be happy with your stay. I will definitely be back.

I’ve stayed at Silver Surf before. The rooms are clean have just about everything you’d need- fridge,microwave,hairdryer.There is an indoor pool and hot tub.Beds are comfortable and provide good body support. Rooms are reasonably priced.Silver Surf is conveniently located with a restaurant,The Big Sur cafe next door and there’s a liquor store/grocery store a short walk from the hotel. Go a bit south,you have Cambria and you can get gas and shop, Go north and you have that beautiful coastline leading into Big Sur. I will stay here again.

Very good stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nicely upgraded bathroom. The location is excellent—very close to the ocean and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. The only downside was that the room did not have AC. Otherwise, a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

The room was spacious enough for our ten-day stay. All the equipment worked - fridge, microwave, wifi. The price for our stay was quite reasonable. The distance to the beach is not far. The indoor pool and hot tub was a plus. We had been here last year and decided to come again this time. We would return on a future trip.

The pool area is showing it's age, and the grounds were a little under kept, glass was too long and there was an old tire and trash in the parking lot. The hot tub was a little green. The room was clean and renovated. For the location and price it was good. We went to the beach in the morning and saw dolphins cruising on the water.
