"the ocean was visible from our room, however the beach was covered in sea weed wich i understand is normal but nothing was done to clean the beach. we enjoyed our pool very much !! the water in the pool became visible dirty after a few days , the same thing happened to the main pool and nothing was being done about it. i think housekeeping needs to step it up."

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"Catalonia Royal Tulum was great. Had very friendly and helpful staff. The resort was incredible and so were the restaurants that were included with the all inclusive. I just had a problem with my car rental. I had paid for the full rental up front and for insurance for the vehicle, but upon arrival I was told by Mex Rent a Car that I needed to leave a $5,000 USD deposit for insurance. I found that number to be quiet high and asked for a refund. I ended up getting no help from the employee there and had to pay for a full new rental contract at Hertz where they were better priced and better help."
