"Our room was nice. The staff is always amazing. But 3 out od 5 days my family was sick from eating the buffet. Diarrhea,vomiting,and cramps. We have been here several times before with no issues. My 12 year old would eat only french toast because he was afraid of being sick again and thw food selection was AWFUL!!!!! it rained and the dining area as well as halls were flooded. My husband and I could barely move because the bed was awful. We were in The Level area. After 5 times WE WILL NOT RETURN!!!"

"The staff were amazing! Everyone was kind and attentive to all of our requests! Check in system is very slow and was challenging after a long day of travel. Buffets were good and the kids loved the food! Sit down dinner we only went 1 time because reservations were hard to get for our big group and the food was just ok. Activities were minimal but Cesar was fun and tries to get everyone involved! Beach was beautiful and secluded! Taxi service was fast and easy, 20 usd per ride to town. We loved our time at El Cozumeleno! For a more budget friendly all inclusive option we would highly recommend! Make your own fun at this beautiful property! El Coz has so much character!"

"No complaints with our stay for 2 weeks. The room fit our needs with a wonderful view of the water. The pool deck area is comfortable with lots of options for lounging around the pool. It has an upscale feel to the whole pool area. The wait staff bringing beverages and food (tasty - although more expensive than in San Miguel, but fair for the poolside experience) are attentive and friendly. Snorkeling at the hotel is terrific … almost as good as the snorkeling tour we did. I think it is worth mentioning too that we had no issues with sea grass here given the location of the hotel doesn’t appear to see this issue like other parts of the island and the mainland. Special mention goes to David and Marco who are super helpful in the lobby with local knowledge of tours, food, shopping and general ideas for exploring the island. It is possible to walk into San Miguel (3 kms) and taxis are always easy to catch at the hotel and in town. Back for a day to Canadian snow and ice … missing Cozumel and the Hotel B Unique hospitality. "

"No water pressure when arrived which was fixed great third day. Pool is amazing. Room had bugs but was sprayed day two which helped. Love the view. Staff not always friendly and did not even acknowledge us when entering or leaving. The friendliness was quite different then our great Thanksgiving stay. Would recommend stay on upper levels only. The shower could not have been cleaned as no water pressure."

"Alright place to stay overnight for next day flight. Upkeep and maintenance is lacking. Light over sink was out couldn’t see in shower or mirror. Overpriced for what you get $70 US for breakfast buffet that was meh. Hotel staff were great but front desk wasn't very accommodating. Main pool was really disgusting, not clean at all, sludge piled up in one corner. Bar service at pool extremely slow. "
