Rooms: We were initially assigned a room on the first floor that was subpar. It had a noticeable musty odor, poor air conditioning, and overall lack of cleanliness. The bathroom was in a similar state, with stagnant water pooling in the shower. To make matters worse, we encountered cockroaches in the room, which forced us to request a room change. Customer Service: The service here is a hit-or-miss. Some staff members were quite rude and made us feel like we were bothering them whenever we asked for assistance. On a positive note, a few employees were lovely, such as Jessica at the bar and Martina at the buffet. Additionally, the check-in process took incredibly long due to an seemingly outdated system; expect significant delays if you arrive after a large group of people. Food & Amenities: On the bright side, the food was generally very good at both the buffets and the restaurants. The overall amenities are also in decent condition, though it was disappointing that half of the main pool was closed for renovations during our stay. Overall: We left feeling highly disappointed given the price we paid. We have no intentions of returning and cannot recommend this hotel.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. It is actually difficult to put into words the warmth of this place. Of course, the food is excellent, the beach is beautiful, the rooms are great — but somehow all of that ends up becoming secondary. What you really remember is how people made you feel. There is a genuine warmth here that starts with the General Manager and is reflected throughout the entire team. It never feels scripted or “hospitality by the book.” It feels human. A very special thank you to Juan Alejandro, who is simply an extraordinary host and made us feel incredibly welcome from the beginning. And also to Sony and Ray at the beach, and Miguel at the buffet, for their kindness, smiles, attention and the little things they did every day that made such a difference. You can have a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, but it is the people who turn it into a place you want to come back to. That is exactly what this team has managed to create. Thank you to all of you. You made our stay very special.
