"Very cozy and welcoming space, the rooms are large and super comfy! Kitchen area was great and well-equipped. Also appreciated the abundant parking! Close proximity to the Brightwood store and Tavern, and easy access to hwy 26. Low enough in elevation to not need chains to get up to the house. Very friendly neighbors as well! The beautiful view overlooking the Sandy River was the cherry on top!"

"Lovely hotel - clean, nice area, great to have that patio overlooking the river near the bridge. The power went out across the city - they still had lights on for us, but the elevator went down and we couldn't get the full breakfast we expected. They provided bagels and cereals - the best they could do under the circumstances. An employee helped bring our bags down the stairs but didn't help into the car - some help is better than none so we still appreciate the effort. "

"Loved the scenic views overlooking Columbia River and enjoyed the historic building and grounds. Staff friendly and helpful. Wonderful ambience and fine dining with attentive service. Would advise you to select room on river side as traffic from highway is loud and ongoing, unless you’re a deep sleeper or wear earplugs. Take into consideration the hotel is historic and anticipate its older bones. Room had comfortable king size bed and nice amenities like robes. Second time staying there and...
