「Beautiful grounds, unique historic hotel, friendly staff —even an adorable welcome bag (with cute bandana, water dish, treats and poo bags!) for our doggo. Beautiful rooms, nice dining, art deco decor. Special! 」

「This was such a cozy stay. The amenities this resort offers is beyond what I was expecting. The spa and sauna was a percent way to add to the relaxation of space. Loved having the ample space, and all the trails connected to the property. Restaurants, Coffeehouses, Grocery Stores, and Gas stations were all within minutes away. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Made you feel welcomed right when you stepped in. Has to be one of my favorite stays. I honestly never wanted to leave. Can’t wait...

「This charming motel is cute, comfortable and clean. And perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. The owners of more than thirty years are welcoming and obviously committed to providing their guests the best. They are currently remodeling, repainting and redecorating these already sweet little cabins. With only two days to play and such a short drive from Portland this was a delightful find for a much needed respite and aura-fluffing. Thank you. We will be back. 」

「I stayed the entire weekend and everything was great. The bed in the loft was very comfortable, even with my bad back. It was quiet and peaceful. Just what I needed. I'll be back for sure.」

「Nostalgic area with friendly and efficient staff. Love the cute room and special little details to make us feel at home! Also a cool history book provided about the county with photos of the hotel from the 1920’s and there’s a nice sitting area in the center of our floor with a fire place, coffee, couches, board games, refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable place to relax and hang out with family and friends. Looking forward to another visit soon!」

「This was a perfect place to stay for a few days in the drippy Pacific NW forest, just minutes from Mt. Hood, convenient retail and dining. Although we could hear highway noise, it was blended with the rushing waters of the Zig Zag River only yards away, We felt cozy and secluded.」
