"An incredible property with abysmal food and sub par service. Kona Village is magical - the grounds, the hales (rooms), the spa, the yoga, the bikes to ride around the property and the stunning beach. But such a magical 5 star resort should also offer excellent cuisine and hospitality. We were shocked by the inconsistent food, the lack of variety and the room service which was never correct and delivered uncovered. We were so excited to return to our beloved Kona Village after 16 years but were left very disappointed. Unless something dramatic changes with the management we shall not return. "

"This property was great!Highlights:-Super clean-Updated appliances and recently remodeled throughout -breathtaking views, feels like you’re truly in the tropics!Considerations:-there is no a/c so it can get warm/humid inside-you will hear the upstairs neighbors walking and potentially even talking, music, tv, etc. Just be prepared for this -bathroom could use a vent to mitigate the humidity level I’m still giving this property a high star rating because it was everything we needed for the price and would stay there again."

"5 stars all the way! This home was absolutely perfect for our family’s spring break. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed with how beautiful, clean, and welcoming everything was. The house had everything we needed and truly exceeded our expectations.One of our favorite parts was all of the amazing outdoor space. We spent so much time outside enjoying the pool, relaxing, and making memories together. The layout of the home was also perfect for families. We especially loved gathering around the kitchen island to eat, talk, and just enjoy being together.The host was wonderful, kind, informative, responsive, and made us feel so comfortable throughout our stay. You can tell a lot of care went into making this home such a special place.We had the best time and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay!"

"The house was above expectations. Our extended family really enjoyed the property. The house was clean, well kept, and very comfortable. The pool and lanai were a great addition. We spent lots of time together by the pool. The host was attentive and very responsive. Great communication. Great location near the airport. Will definitely stay here again. "

"The place was perfect, the time fell on the major storm and Don made sure my daughter’s stay was safe. Don gave her a late check to accommodate her late flight. He stayed in communication with me throughout my daughter’s stay. She loved the place, close to some great hiking, coffee plantations. Not far from the beaches and airport. Highly recommended. "
