「This property was wonderful. We have stayed at Kona Plaza before and love the location. It is also surprisingly quiet for being right in town. The lanai is wonderful and so relaxing. It exceeded our expectations regarding supplies - all the condiments we needed and never had to purchase more paper towels or toilet paper. 「This was my second VRBO stay in Kona in two months. I thought the convenience of staying within walking distance of restaurants would outweigh the loss of square footage and additional cost. 「Our entire stay was made better by our place at the Kona Mansions. It is a beautiful property and all the best has gone into making the accommodations superb!! It was a great location as well, central to everything and quiet with lush and beautiful landscape. We loved the pool, very nice common area for BBQ and patio dining. Because of my husband’s arthritis those 3 flights of stairs were definitely a lot for him. An elevator would have been helpful.」

「On July 21 we arrived the Kailua-Kona just after 4 PM and discovered we had the dates wrong when we opened the door and it was not clean. We immediately closed the door and we then contacted the owner to see if it was possible to get it cleaned and pay for that night.
