"Upon arrival at 9 pm, staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and lovely. All this was awesome. Things went south when after a long day of travel, in preparation for heading to bed we found we had zero water anywhere. No shower, No flushing of toilets, no water in the sink taps. We could not even brush our teeth. I phoned the front dest to see if there was a trick to turning on the water in the condo. It was then we were informed there was a water flushing of hydrants happening and it would take 2 hours. I was told there should have been a notice on our Condo door. There was no notice on the condo door unfortunately so we were unprepared for the water shut down. We went to bed despite not being able to do our usual routine since it had been a long travel day and 2 more hours of staying up was too much for us. The next morning we found we STILL had no water. another call to the front desk and we were told they did not know when the water would be fixed. I asked if there would be any compensation as we were only there for 2 nights and after traveling a long day we weren't even able to use the facilities in our room and now we still were without water, couldn't even flush the toilet. She said this was a matter for management and she would take my name , room number and phone number and give that to him and he would get back with me. I am hoping I will still hear from management and something can be done. Water was finally restored just after 8 pm. "

"Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting. It's a little far away from kailua, but with the full kitchen next time we will do a few meals at the resort "

"Location, location, location. We had a corner room that was quite literally "on the rocks". Our most expensive room ever during our 53 years of marriage, but well worth the cost."

"Very high end. Beautiful resort. Kept Hawaii traditional look throughout property. Landscape and buildings gorgeous. Everything very expensive though. Not the best beach. Windy and rocky. If you want high end and care about costs, it’s reanice"

"Very pretty, lots of pools and hot tubs close by which we used.Lovely balcony, nice kitchen. Easy parking. Use of beach chairs. Didn't care for two floors. The next time I would find a place with an ocean view and beach if possible."

"A little off the beaten path and extremely quiet. We had the aloha room with a nice balcony and ocean view. Big enough for the two of us and very comfortable. Affordable in comparison to other hotels. Close to the Outrigger where they have the Manta ray night tours. "
