「The pool was good. However, the hotel room was very very musty and smelled terrible. The hotel staff helped us by switching our room, but it took three switches to get a room that didn’t smell moldy and musty.」

「Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. Again, very cool house but just think...

「We only stayed for one night, but found the room (king suite) exceptional for the price. The hairdryer didn’t work, but the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again!」

「This was an amazing place to stay! I didn’t have any idea the place would be that cool. The rooms were clean, the entire property was like a little resort with different activities including tennis, pickleball, an outdoor pool, pool table, a nine hole golf course, and a neat outdoor covered fireplace. The breakfast was amazing also. I would definitely recommend!」

「The room was as clean as it could be. There were no bugs. A/C worked well. The woman at the front desk was fantastic! Parking was fine. The pillows were better than more expensive places I've stayed. I do think they need to dilute the bleach (or whatever they use) they wash the bedding in. I was experiencing various skin reactions, and the smell affected my breathing when I laid on my side.」
