「Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. 」

「Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. 「The property is lovely, but best for one younger person. The yard for the dogs is great, with lots of room to run. However, we are older and found the steep stairs challenging.
