Spacious, spotless room with a great bathroom. Very comfortable bed and nice breakfast

This was a brilliant overnight stop off. We arrived in the evening and were told what time last orders for dinner would be. Ordered a fabulous veggie pizza which when it turned up was huge - delicious - and thoroughly enjoyed! Beer was good and the bar staff chatty and friendly. We had a family room for 2 of us - loads of space and beds were comfy. There was a heat wave so fans were provided - thoroughly appreciated! The booking included breakfast - what a delight the lady taking orders was! Fun, friendly and chatty! I had a vegetarian breakfast and soy milk - all no issue. (As a veggie it’s a delight to have a decent veggie alternative) others in our party ordered the traditional option and said how nice it was. Breakfast wasn’t rushed and we had a lovely leisurely chatty start to the day. The beer garden looked great - we arrived too late to enjoy it sadly - next time we will arrive earlier. Recommended and would definitely stay here again!
