「The room had everything we needed and was good value for the price. But the level of cleanliness was not what we were expecting. Could have done with a deep clean and some new bed linen as it was a bit marked and old」

「I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.」

「A beautiful property located in a peaceful area with a complimentary breakfast. I stopped during the recent heatwave and was pleased I had packed my mini travel fan as my room had the sun in the afternoon, usually this would have been a treat, just not on this occasion. 「No wifi at all event though 4 box’s were listed, horribly overpriced £90/night - bathroom had mold around the window/ceiling, shower head didn’t fit the holder so had to hold it to be able to use the shower. Restaurant and bar not open in the evenings, and hardly any staff around bar one guy. Only up side was there was parking outside the property. Dead wasps on the the floor of the hall way.
