"We spent a great deal of time researching hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and with so many options, it felt like a stressful decision. Ultimately, we chose L’Hotel du Lac based on its strong reviews and excellent location and we couldn’t have been happier with that choice. The staff (a special shoutout to Jolie) were exceptional, the rooms were comfortable and impressively quiet, and the breakfast was truly outstanding. Our trip to Vietnam lasted two weeks, beginning in Hanoi with a stay at L’Hotel du Lac. When we returned to Hanoi at the end of our trip, we had booked a different hotel to experience another part of the city. However, we quickly regretted that decision and spent much of our time wishing we had returned to L’Hotel du Lac instead. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again."

The rooms are spotless and the staff is absolutely outstanding!!! When I got out of a taxi the other day after an adventure one of the staff members came running across the street to carry my bag. And they store my extra luggage. I highly recommend this place! I always feel like I’m coming back home! Great choice !! "
