"We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights. Clean, comfortable and nice kitchen/communal space. Quiet area but very well connected with Kyoto Station 5 minute walk away - Metro, JR and Shinkansen. Also opposite the station is the main bus station as pickup point for day tours which was very convenient. Our only issue was that the washing machines and driers are sat outside right in the designated smoking area - so our clothes smelt terrible, hopefully they can fix this going forward and it...

"We loved the quiet location. The building was 100 years old and very nicely preserved. The spa was perfect and the staff members were all very helpful and kind. The food was 5 star! "

"Stayed for 1 night and everything was nice. Expected to arrive late due to flight delay and they still served us dinner. A staff picked us up at the train station though it’s only a few minutes walk. The dinner and breakfast are the best I’ve ever had in Japan. The property is spacious and clean. "Jinpuso is very near JR station. Room size is good with Japanese style bed. The Japanese style breakfast is delicious. Only the problem is they don’t have private toilet. And you may assign to have room in 2nd floor which you need to take your luggage up by steps. That means it is not suitable for travelers with big luggage. "
