"We really enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Town. It is in a quiet residential street less than 10 minutes from Enmachi Station and you get instructions how to get there in your information pack. It's 3 bus stops (roughly) from Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Temple) and we found it a good base for sightseeing in Kyoto by bus and train. We were going to use the bikes they provide but it was raining so used the umbrellas provided instead. There is a kitchen to prepare meals and small garden with bathroom in....
