「Our stay was ok for what we paid. The room was clean but had no air conditioning, which in the heat wave was a bit uncomfortable. A fridge in the room would have been good. Breakfast was decent and they have a Starbucks onsite which was great. The staff were friendly and overall I would say it was value for money.」

「The Room stank of stale tobacco, when I checked in I was told numerous times that the rooms were strictly non smoking, it didn't help all the rooms look onto the smoking area of the hotel but the smell in the room was not just from outside. The Pillows were Paper thin and at 6:30am I was awoken by staff talking extremely loud outside the window. (The window had to stay open due to be it being a very warm night)」

「We were literally staying one day to meet up with family before continuing our travels. The staff was very accommdating and helpful. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice including GF and lactose free choices . The seating area for buffet also was great for us to chat with family in the late evening, keeping us from disturbing others if we were gathering in our rooms to chat. The two fire doors at hallway prevented any sound from travelling towards the rooms on the first level. We ate supper...

「The room smelled like someone was smoking in it all night and day. I had the room for multiple days, and ended up leaving after the first night, even though I had to pay for another hotel. Best money I spent. It’s a shame because the staff were quite nice, but the room, facilities, and vibe was terrible.」

「Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend ..」

「This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!」

「Mijn 2de keer dat ik heb een overnachting geboekt hier. Mooi schoon kamers. Geweldig pub met lokaal bieren. Geweldig eigenaar en medewerkers. Heel vriendelijke lokale mensen en 5 minuten lopen van het stad centrum. Engels ontbijt van de hoogste niveau voor 9 1/2 pond. Mooi beer garden en gratis parkeren voor gasten. Top top locatie en niet duur.」
