「The bartender Eddie saved the day. He’s the pool bartender. The food nor the beach did it for us. We checked out 2 days earlier. Although it was nonrefundable we chose to leave and enjoy the city. The sea grass swarmed the beach. It was so smelly I couldn’t smell my perfume daily. For the price we paid the food wasn’t good at all. The best thing on the menu was the cheese burger. Didn’t receive a welcome drink or hot towel. Very disappointing 」

The staff was slow and half of them were incompetent. The managers were kind, but you shouldn’t need to involve a manager for every little thing. The food is bad and on the last day we ordered tiramisu that came frozen (after Princess told us they had a baker) and the whipped cream on top had turned and was sour- this skeeved us out- it was impossible...

「The hotel staff were fantastic and the view was beautiful. It was quite a ways from San Pedro town which limited dining options for us. The staff booked us a reservation at Mambo with a driver or boat pickup depending on the weather. The breakfast was good but very few options for dinner at the onsite restaurant. If I could do it again, I would rent a golf cart in town for the duration of our stay and book tours that picked us up at the resort dock.」

「We stayed in ocean view one bedroom. Very well appointed. Balcony was so enjoyable. Peaceful and quiet with the exception of one night the guests below us had a loud party with hired DJ with PA system. It was so loud we left for the evening. The staff/security did shut them down by 9 pm which was very appreciated. 「This place is great! Staff was amazing, room was clean and spacious. The bistro on site serves amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate there for every meal during our stay and never had a bad meal. The only downside was the sargassum. We were there in April for spring break and it was bad. The beach was unusable, which was a shame. The pool was nice and since it's a small resort, it never felt crowded. We would definitely come back!」

「My stay at the Watermark was nothing but amazing from the time I booked my stay. The communication between me and the staff was very timely. The accommodations that were made for me even when I chose to extend my stay were greatly appreciated. Yal at the front desk was such a joy and very helpful. The staff in the rooftop bar were great as well. I will definitely be returning. 」

「Great vacation and location. Not much to do on the island but if looking for laid back this is the place. Sargasm is pretty thick in the spring and summer and can be stinky. No beach. We took a boat out for the day and was amazing. Also hung out at the split. 」
