「Beautiful resort」

「The hotel is nice with a beautiful garden, but it’s not a good value for money. Everything is extra, including the room coffee which is $5 USD per day, after paying 900 USD for two nights! Breakfast is à la carte and the size is tiny. They charge service fee for the room mini bar. The restaurant is very expensive and does not serve local food.」

「Falling Leaves was a beautiful, cozy, and relaxing place. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for our honeymoon. The grounds of this hotel was so beautiful with lots of luscious green plants. It’s in a really great location too! 」

「Very nice property with great staff. The amenities are a bit expensive and remember that many cabins do not have air conditioning. This can be uncomfortable during the hot months. 」

「I loved this place and wished I could stay longer. My room had a tilapia roof and it felt like a cozy nest. Lots of hot water in the shower! Staff all amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful. Tried restaurant twice. Food, service , ambience wonderful. Convenient walk to town and stores, bank, etc. Last but not least the resident cat Luna made me feel right at home.」

「We had a great stay at the West House overall. Good location if you want to be able to walk around San Ignacio (probably the nicest hotel in that area). The reason for the mixed review is that we had something “go missing” from our room during our stay. It wasn’t something that we would ever bring out of the room with us and the worst part is that it was inside one of our bags when we left the room, meaning someone either went through the bag and took it or it fell out during the room cleaning...

「Had a two bedroom villa with 3 beds. Very clean and nice with small individual pool. Nice space to come back to after excursions. About a 30 min walk from downtown San Ignacio which wouldn't want to do at night based on having to walk on the street. Can get cabs arranged from hotel.」

「A really beautiful experience. Table Rock Jungle Lodge doesn’t make a big footprint but does leave a big impression. Solar powered and sustainable, it’s clear that the management values the environment it is in. There’s nothing like listening to the sound of howler monkeys at night and the multitude of birds in the morning from a room that feels like a treehouse, but has all the amenities of a high-end resort.」

「I'm very happy we stayed here. Simple. Sweet. We did not use the AC and left the windows open for air. It was a little noisy at night, but not the fault of the hotel. Ezra made us really delicious breakfasts for us each morning. Staff were all very kind. 」
