Our stay was perfect as a morning launching pad and evening landing pad for our San Ignacio adventures. The staff were very kind and friendly, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the hammock on the deck of our cabana was highly utilized at the end of our long days. The hotel was a short walk from the town of San Ignacio where we were able to get delicious food from vendors, and right next door to Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve.
Our whole time here was fantastic. Having them organize our transportation and tours was such a huge benefit. The property is lovely, especially the cabin we stayed in. The view across the valley is stunning. We especially loved the hammock in the screened in porch. Very relaxing!
A beautiful location with stunning views from the cabanas. The food and drinks at the on-site restaurant and coffee shop were very good and fairly priced. A real bonus is having your own terrace in front of the cabana with a hammock which is protected by a fly net. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking available. We would have liked a fridge and safe in the room but otherwise loved our stay here.
Cahel Pech is a great affordable option in San Ignacio. The pool setup is a fun amenity and meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel was happy to set us up with tours and local drivers too. On a Saturday night, the local town partied loudly until 3am but I can't really fault the hotel for that. The room could be improved with a new mattress and pillows. The view of the town is super nice and there's even a local bunny that is super friendly! Staff is top notch.
Overall a Good place to stay for the cost. The food was average but there are lots of spots to eat in town. The resort public washrooms are not very nice. The room washroom was good tho. We found it loud in the early night. Lots of noise coming up from the town. We played some white noise to filter it out to sleep. The location was good for our Mayan Ruin vacation.
Staff was great. We enjoyed the restaurant, good food, really good breakfast. Resort was very clean. The rooms were different than I expected, we had a little cabin with a thatched rood.it was cute, fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. There is a little noise from town, but it wasn’t bad. I would stay there again, good value.

The location is amazing, the staff is friendly helpful and polite ..... and the drinks and food are amazing
We had a lovely stay and will definitely love to come back here.
I was surprised that the place was quite a hike downhill. I have limited mobility and it was very difficult.
It was very loud in proximity to the city which I also did not expect. There was no water or cups available which I’ve had at every other hotel I’ve stayed at excitably at that price.
The food and the pool were amazing.
All the huts had hammocks except mine. Once I asked they were accommodating and got one hung up but it was one of the main reasons I reserved the place and was surprised that I had to ask.
Overall the people were nice and everything was fine.
Clean room, friendly staff, and we enjoyed the restaurant on site. Walking distance to the Cahal Pech ruins & within pickup range for the shuttle for both of our excursions. We also booked the shuttle through the hotel for airport pickup in Belize city and it was flawless.
