"I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc.
I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again."

"Located in the pine ridge reserve over looking waterfall, the view is stunning. Private waterfall natural pool lounging area is available to the guests. Room is cozy and comfortable, smaller than expected. Complimentary breakfast is great since there are only two high-end restaurants within 25 minutes drive. It is expensive to dine in the hotel. Landscape and the surrounding nature is beautiful. It is close to Big Rock waterfall. There is no AC in the room, but we didn’t feel hot as the mountain is cooling. However, the approximately to the fall does make all our clothings quite damp. The staff are extremely friendly. "
"Perfect place to stay if you want to feel like you are in the jungle but still have a flushing toilet and hot shower! Amazing helpful staff. Highly recommended."
"Overall had a wonderful stay at this quiet resort with my family. The food was delicious for every meal, and the staff were friendly, particularly Rita who went above and beyond in her service and was so kind and friendly, she just seemed to ‘get us’. The pool area is also beautiful. We booked a day trip to Tikal through the resort, and it was the highlight of our trip! Marco our guide was outstanding in his knowledge and so friendly, it was well worth the price.
Some things to consider, the welcome drink is a nice touch, but after a long hot travel up (went to the ruins on the way) to the lodge, we really would have preferred to go to our room first and freshen up. It felt akward to sit at the pool in our hiking shoes, and we felt sort of like we had to stay there for the drink. Maybe a drink ticket for later in the day would be a better option.
Also, the set dinner menu gave little option and was extremely expensive with no pricing. For our family of 4, we were shocked at one dinner costing almost $300 usd! The second night we were given the option just do main dinner, not all 3 courses, but the fact that nothing was priced until after the fact was misleading.
Other than that we had a wonderful stay, and would recommend for sure!"
"The cabin was spotless including the bathroom. Comfortable beds. The pool was great at the end of the day. The nature trail was interesting and piece of nature so close to other amenities. Location was excellent- walking distance to the market and restaurants. I would come here again!"
"Outstanding! It was my first time in Belize and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was great. The rooms and restaurant were excellent, but what made the trip special was the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful, genuine, and, overall, fun to be around. Five stars!"
"Great hotel to stay at in the central area of San Ignacio. It was clean with AC, cold filtered water, and staff was great. Walking distance to restaurants and downtown area. Parking was easy."
