「We were impressed with the staff, cleanliness and quality of the site. Meals were the only thing that were slightly expensive but overall very good.」

「What a beautiful experience! I HIGHLY recommend. My husband and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful, jungle experience and Mystic River delivered. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and our room was wonderful and the bed was comfy. Steve, Mike & Olivia went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Steve & Olivia took care of us at the facility and Mike was our wonderful tour guide the entire stay. The food was delicious and perfectly plated (many thanks to the chef) and the rum punch...

「Beautiful accommodation with a view of the city, warm and helpful staff always ready to assist or offer advice. There are two great pools for cooling off on hot days. The rooms are simply furnished; they lack a wardrobe or dresser for storing clothes—there is only a small rack with a few hangers—and there are no cups or mugs; a fridge would also be a welcome addition. The hotel's location is perfect, just a few steps from the Mayan ruins.」

「very quiet and peaceful resort. Great for a weekend getaway」

「The staff at Villa Massis made us feel like family from the second we walked in! The food and drinks were wonderful. The room was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful! Joelle (spelling?) was extremely warm and helpful. He booked us a private tour to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Mark was our guide and the tour was incredible! Their bartender, Gio, knew exactly how to cool us off after a hot day. Lucy always had the most beautiful smile on her face. The owner (can't remember his name) was...

「Staff was great and verry accommodating. Food was not so good. One pool was a little dirty because they didn't have it circulating. The other pool was other other side of the property. The roads coming in were absolutely horrible. Very rocky and washed out」

「Great stay! Beautiful, quiet, well kept grounds. Clean accommodations and very comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convient to town and free pick for most tours in the area. Would definitely stay again.」

「Friendly」

「Like many eco lodges in the area, rooms are basically screened-in porchs with adjustable shutters - perfect for the setting, but very exposed. So, I get up at 2:30am for a routine bathroom visit, and let me add the (surprisingly relevant) detail that it was the quick and quiet #1 variety. Just as I was back in bed turning off the light, someone in the dark just outside my window asked 'Are you alright?'. Startled, at first I assumed this was a conversation between 2 people coincidentally on...

「The grounds are insanely beautiful. We had an incredible stay. The ATM tour and visiting Cahal Pech (in the backyard!) are musts. Don’t let the hill intimidate you. The town itself is lovely! Can’t wait to come back! Our suite was beautiful and the staff so attentive!」

「Well my daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. From the beginning of our arrival we were welcomed! Loved our time there. The entire staff are super friendly and kind. We especially loved getting to know Fiona and her family. We enjoyed all the meals they prepared for us. Thank you guys for a wonderful place to be☆」
