"Couldn't say enough great things about this place! It is truly a jungle paradise! The property is located on a huge piece of land overlooking the river, exceptionally well maintained, with exotic flowers everywhere, the peaceful views on the river with nothing but the birds as background, the hiking trails, everything is just wonderful! The room was very nice, rustic, and cool, with the fireplace as a very nice touch - it was a bit chilly in the evenings and we really enjoyed lighting the fire :). They also have a vegetable and fruit garden, which they use for the restaurant meals. The food was great - they have a Dinner special menu that's different every night and it was very good! And also very reasonably priced. But most of all, it is truly the people that made the stay exceptional, everyone, from the reception to the gardener to the restaurant and bar staff to the random worker we'd meet while exploring the property grounds were just so nice and kind! All in all, it exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay between adventures in the area."

"It’s a beautiful property and the staff made every effort to make our stay super comfortable, warm, and relaxing. "The bed was so comfortable and the king suite was huge like an apartment. We loved this hotel on a pedestrian-only street in San Ignacio. The hotel provided free water and had a well stocked kitchen for light cooking and reheating. 10/10 would stay here again. Close walk to farmers market and many restaurants."

"Breakfast was very fresh and well presented and served. Room was clean and well serviced. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming with a very refreshing drink served on arrival. We didn’t use the spa but enjoyed the pool. The shuttle service was also convenient as we didn’t have a car. A great stay - thank you!"
