Everything was great. My only complaint is that they played music and other tv noise at the restaurant. The nature sounds is what I came for, not bar music!! Please make the restaurant a no music zone and let us listen to the birds, geckos, and howler monkeys!! They are amazing!!

The place is a bit dated, but overall a nice serene escape if you're looking to disconnect and relax. Staff was super polite and helpful the entire time. Upon entering our room, it was clean aside from a condom wrapper on the ledge and a used condom in the trash can which we can only assume came from staff after the room had beed cleaned. That was pretty gross and not a great start to the visit. Several of the lights in the room didn't work and the private plunge pool is not heated, but not a big deal. The toilet wouldn't flush and I found out that the mechanism was literally being held together with a gum wrapper, but was able to fix it enough to have an operable toilet. The main pool was nice, though a little dirty and also unheated. Food was very good, but kitchen hours were pretty limited which again isn't a huge deal but would've been good to know beforehand. The location is down a very bumpy dirt road and not close to anything, so it's a 25 minute drive each way to food or drinks outside the resort and you'd want an SUV or pickup if driving yourself (not as scary as you think, if you're new to Belize) as a small car would bottom out quite a bit. Overall we were pleased with the trip and found some hidden gems, but this probably isn't a place I'd recommend unless you want to stay on resort the whole time.

I had an amazing experience at Dream Valley Belize. The staff is truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The property itself is huge, beautifully maintained, and incredibly relaxing. There’s so much to do—you’ll never feel bored. From the two pools to the variety of games and activities available, it’s perfect for both families and anyone looking to unwind or stay active. The location is fantastic—peaceful, scenic, and perfectly situated to enjoy the surroundings. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the spa services, the range of amenities offered at such a great price point is impressive. And the food—absolutely delicious. Every meal we had was really, really good. Overall, Dream Valley Belize offers an incredible combination of comfort, activities, value, and service. Highly recommend!

This was the best resort I've ever stayed in, staff was super friendly, the resort and spa was relaxing, my time there was enjoyable. Next time I come back to Belize I'll make sure to stay here. Also the restaurant food was fabulous. Definitely will recommend to anyone wanting a jungle relaxing experience in Belize.

Our stay at Dream Valley was absolutely unforgettable. We booked the honeymoon suite tucked into the jungle of Belmopan along the Belize River, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Having our own private pool surrounded by lush greenery made it feel secluded, peaceful, and incredibly special. The suite itself was exceptional — beautifully designed, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a romantic getaway. The staff truly made the experience stand out. Carmen went above and beyond to help us coordinate excursions and transportation, making everything seamless and stress-free. Her attention to detail and genuine care did not go unnoticed. The restaurant deserves special recognition — the food was five-star quality. Dining on the balcony while sipping drinks at sunset was one of the most romantic experiences of the trip. The atmosphere, the views, and the flavors were all outstanding. The only piece of advice for future guests: the hotel is in a remote location and not within walking distance of anything. We highly recommend renting a vehicle to make exploring easier. If you’re looking for a romantic, jungle retreat with exceptional service and unforgettable scenery, Dream Valley is the perfect choice. We would absolutely return.

The kind, capable, and attentive staff at beautiful Dream Valley resort was the highlight for us. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. We are two couples traveling, and each of our rooms were lovely, very spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed beautiful views of the river, on the spectacular sights and sounds of the birds, and howler monkeys in the surrounding jungle. We even spotted a coati! Dream Valley is conveniently located near the must see ATM cave as well as cave floating opportunities. With two pools and a delicious restaurant on property, Dream Valley offers a relaxing retreat for travelers.

Very serene restful place staff was very helpful we loved our river view room was beautiful watched fireflies in the grass at night lots of trails and loved water tubing through caves that we did offsite

We spent 4 nights at Dream Valley and absolutely enjoyed it there. The resort and facilities were excellent, but what stood out was the staff. They were all extremely courteous, helpful, professional, with diligent attention to detail. We cannot praise and appreciate them enough. We intend on visiting Belize again, and would definitely stay at Dream Valley again.

Loved this place so much! This place is beautiful, the howler monkeys are amazing and the staff…the staff is WONDERFUL!! The food is great and not overly priced. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about this place were the beds (way toooo hard) and the hot water is very unstable. Otherwise this place is amazing.
