「We had an absolutely amazing stay. Dominic and his family are welcoming, informative, and gracious. The land around the lodge is stunning, with views of Xunantunich in the distance. Iguanas, toucans, green parrots, and frogs are all living on the property. The breakfasts every morning are authentic Belizean, and delicious! The rooms are clean, and comfortable. 」

「I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.」

「Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.」
