「We arrived at 11:30 PM on the first night and we were immediately let in by security. There was no wait, very happy with the service. The property is gated and so we felt very safe there.」

「Laundry room!」

「The couple running the hostel are great. Lots of fun!!!」

「The staff was excellent at this property. I believe that some of the rooms are in really great shape and others are not. A friend stayed in a different room and loved it. We did not love our room. It was the dolphin. The shower curtain had mold on the backside of it. The baseboards had nails with rust coming down. 「I had a wonderful time staying at Monkey Beach Retreat! The place is even more beautiful than the photos show. The beach and water are fantastic, the hosts (Gary and Tina) are very welcoming and helpful, and I definitely recommend Miss Miriam’s meals. I highly recommend staying here!」

「It was excellent! The pool was so nice.」

「I have nothing but good things to say about Ocean breeze! I had a very lovely stay! Thank you to all the beautiful friendly staff!」

「Arrived late after communicating with the desk staff that I may arrive after the cutoff. Was able to get to my room and get some food before the resturant closed. The roof bar had a nice view and the pools and beach were well maintained except for a large hole in the surface area of one of the wadding areas. The people were friendly and accommodating and the area was nice. All said a good experience.」

「Right on the walkway that crosses the main tourist part of Placencia, with easy access to everything. The place itself was quiet, very well maintained, clean, comfortable, and most importantly, had an AC unit. It was so hot outside! Would definitely recommend and stay there again.」

「It was perfect for myself and my dog. Very quiet, peaceful, on the beach.」
