「What a gem of a hotel. Fantastic service, super friendly staff and a highly personal experience. For us, one big draw was the eco friendliness of the hotel and the quality of the ingredients used throughout the hotel’s restaurant and even the room mini bar. 「Il Pellicano is a dream. The property is stunning and exquisitely maintained. The views are breathtaking. The staff is most gracious. The perfect place for a peaceful and restorative getaway. We tried both dining options for dinner--the informal as well as the Michelin-starred dining room--and both were excellent. The latter was one of the best meals we've ever had anywhere, and we're serious food people who live in New York. We'll be back.」

「屋根裏部屋のようなシングルルームには驚きました。窓が目線になく上のほうにあります。最初見たときは部屋の変更を申し出ようと思いましたが、 1泊だし、ほとんど調べ物で時間を費やすので妥協しました。朝食はよかったです。まぁまぁです。受付のおばさんが最初は無愛想でしたが、今シェルジュがいないので調べ物を依頼したら、きちんと調べておいてくれました。助かりました。」

「Just the loveliest place. Cannot recommend more highly. 」

「Just what we needed for a short ‘birthday’ stay! Regular minibus to and from the hotel to Porto and beaches. Air conditioning, hotel bar, and breakfast included. The staff were very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. 」
