「While relatively spartan, Castello di Morcicchia is a superb place to spend time in a serene, peaceful setting in the Umbrian countryside, far from the maddening tourist hordes. The Castle is within easy driving distance of Umbria's most renowned hilltop towns and many smaller ones. There are some very pretty walks into the surrounding forests. And a fantastic terrace at the top of the castle on which to sit in the sun and gaze at the sublime vistas.」

「Friends loved the attached view from the bathroom. The apartment was wonderful: clean, modern, comfortable. Nice location, and there’s a lovely stream rushing right by the parking lot. Written communication was fine but our poor understanding of Italian made the in person communication awkward. 」

「Received excellent customer service, on family-owned and -run, vacation property. The villa resembles a castle on the exterior. Interior is spacious, and spotless. Great Room is , decorated with quirky items, such as a chair & footstool, both with the British flag; vinyl records with an actual player, and a fireplace. 「We had a truly great time at this castle. It was everything we had hoped for during our stay. The castle is updated while keeping a lot of it's original charm. Driving to it was so scenic, with tons of green rolling hills to drive through and an olive tree lined path just before you get to the castle. It is not very far from Siena. And the church bells from the clock tower were very relaxing. Highly recommended.」

「This is the most AMAZING property!!! We have been traveling all over Sicily for a month, and this was bar far our FAVORITE Villa. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is private, but still close to the activities ( boat excursion in Trapani and village/castle in Erice). This Villa is the quintessential Sicilian home. We will definitely be back!!」
