"Make sure you get the room you ordered and not at the seperate cheap and horrible room in the other side of the Hotel complained and moved us booked for two days hotel said one night supervisor manager pedro agreed 2 day room was locked after we cane back from shopping and hotel wanted to charge double the rate. Been a few times but will never go back. Really disappointed "

"Very nice hotel in the centre of Chester. Great restaurant and a spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Only complaint was the show was a shower and tub combo which didn’t drain well and was not easy to shower in. I think that’s more of a cultural thing with the UK preference vs American. All in all this is the best hotel in Chester that I have stayed in (stayed in a lot over the years)."

"Everything was lovely, especially the breakfast and evening meal with excellent food and excellent service from the very hard working staff. Our room was very good and the hotel and its grounds are beautiful. Our only suggestion is that the house keeping of rooms could be a bit more careful to remember to wash glasses, replenish water and tissues. "

"Spotless room. Very quiet. Really great staff, the Irish gentleman checking us in is a credit to the company. (Didn’t catch his name 😢). The staff as we left were all delightful too. Great choice of stay after shopping at Cheshire Oaks. Very handy. Food smelt good even though we had already eaten. Would recommend. "

"We had a lovely stay. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely focused on giving us the best experience. The family room was spacious with beautiful décor, and the location was perfect for visiting Chester Zoo (less than a 15-minute drive). The kids loved the games room, and the food was impeccable. Breakfast the next morning was cooked fresh to order, and the chef personally greeted us. He was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was that the jets in the bathtub weren’t working, which was one of the reasons I booked. Because of that, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return."

"A large group of us have just returned from the most fabulous stay at The Oaks for my hen weekend. Firstly, the host could not of been easier to communicate with. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, the photos on the property details do not do this place justice. Stunning, spacious rooms, en suites, the most amazing party sized kitchen! I would return without hesitation, in fact, we are discussing our return trip next year already! "
