「Clean and tidy, excellent location and beautiful views.」

「Lovely comfortable clean room with comfy beds. Good food especially breakfast. My only very minor personal quibble is only tinned mushrooms-much prefer fresh.」

「The staff at the reception and breakfast were welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately the property was old and looks difficult to maintain and the initial room given to us smelt mouldy setting off my hay fever and partners asthma. Reception quickly gave us another room which was better. Shower and breakfast was nice and the stay was overall pleasant.」

「Food is good, breakfast lovely, staff very helpful, bar is nicely set up, gym also very good. My room though, on the ground floor of what I assume is the older side, needs some tlc. Bathroom furniture need sorting out/screws tightened etc, shower leaked on the floor, door needs to be renewed.」

「The Jug & Bottle is a really well run establishment. Attention to detail in all things they do is a joy to experience. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices and high quality. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Our evening meal could not be bettered. The menu was varied with a wide range of choices and the wine list excellent. Delicious food and wine and very good value as indeed was the cost of our two night stay....

「Room was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast buffet was good.」

「We stayed in family room with multiple beds. Room size good and still room for kids to play even with a cot added. Room showing some signs of age and not all beds comfortable Breakfast good and all staff friendly」

「There was an issue at check in regarding our family room whereby the expedia booking info hadn't pulled through correctly to the hotel. I would recommend emailing the hotel after booking to reconfirm everything. The family room was a decent size, although towels were stained and the free mini's were half used. The pool facilities were lovely. The pool was a little chilly, but jacuzzi very nice and warm.」

「Young Katy and her team are doing a great job! Really good value motel at a service station - one of the best I've stayed in. If you're on a budget this would be an ideal place to stay for a visit to Chester: friendly, welcoming, loads of parking (!) including electric charging right outside. Comfortable room, dog friendly (laminate flooring). The only thing missing is a towel rail in the bathroom! I'd stay again (always the best recommendation!)」
