"Very nice clean room. Enjoyed my stay at the Liner. Two things I want to mention. I was on the third floor, and the hot water for a shower took several minutes to reach my bathroom. If this the same for all the rooms, that is an awful lot of wasted water. The sound proofing between rooms is not the best. With that said, I would stay there again! "

"Henry was great checking us in. Room was great. Spacious enough with sink, fridge and coffee making. Bathroom good and nice molton brown toiletries, good shower. Good WiFi and would definitely recommend. Nice welcoming staff. "

"We ended up leaving as soon as we saw the room. Window wide open to hide the stench of mould. The reception area was bare, we were handed a piece of paper with a long numeric code hand written on it which was the access code for the room….shown to our room, it was unfit for human occupancy. Left immediately, told the fella at reception that the room wasn’t fit, he wasn’t shocked or surprised. Passed the heavily sedated hooded guy loitering outside the hotel and jumped into a cab, onward to an actual hotel. Give this place a massive wide berth….go stay on a park bench instead, you’ll be safer."

"The location was good, parking was very easy in Q Park with discount. Room was pretty average for a delux room. No drawers, or suitcase stand so every time I needed something the case went on the bed which isn’t great. There was no close up make up mirror in bathroom which was annoying. No fridge which was also a surprise. I checked in online and got confirmation email saying pick keys up at reception or from machine. Machine wouldn’t dispense keys so went to reception. Female member of staff said you’ve not checked in despite me looking at an email saying I’d successfully booked in online! She was having none of it, not much customer service no apology…."

"The man at check-in was so downbeat and abrupt. He told me that I had two keys as the toilet and all washing facilities were remote. This was not noted anywhere during booking. This room was over £100 I should note. I then went to the room and it was absolutely tiny. A hard double bed with a tiny single wobbly wardrobe and small table. The only light was a 600mm x 900mm skylight window with a poor blind. Had to be open to make the room a bareable temperature but the light and noise as a result made sleep very difficult. The bathroom down the corridor that was not signed as being a bathroom so I had to go back down the three floors to reception to confirm the bathroom location. It had a really poor power shower, toilet and small sink. The washroom was shared with at least 5 rooms. I will never be going back. Horrible night in a claustrophobic room. Travelodge etc are a major step up in quality and service for comparable price."

"Rooms were fairly clean. Hotel itself had a vintage retro vibe to it. Did not get Parking inside the Hotel premises after a late night arrival at 11 pm. Had to park on the main road next to a neighbouring property. Hotel staff mentioned ‘It is what it is if you come this late at night as the hotel has very limited parking spaces inside‘ , plus he has other customers waiting at the hotel bar , so can’t be bothered about car Parking ! Room central heating turned of at night , provided with an old broken leg electric radiator which was only turning warm at best. Single glazed big windows in the room and bathroom added to the cold. No hot water for 2 hours in the morning, long queue of customers at the reception waiting for a resolution, Receptionist had no clue whatsoever. Continental breakfast was good ."
